内扎瓦尔科约特尔堤坝
Tenochtitlan在蒙特祖玛一世统治期间，修建了“内扎瓦尔科约特尔大堤”，据说是由内扎瓦尔科约特尔设计的。该堤坝长度估计为 12 至 16 公里（7.5 至 9.9 英里），大约于 1453 年竣工。堤坝将新鲜的泉水保留在特诺奇蒂特兰周围的水域中，并将咸水保留在堤坝以外的东部。
