ネザワルコヨトル堤防
Tenochtitlanモクテズマ 1 世の治世中に、ネザワルコヨトルが設計したとされる「ネザワルコヨトルの堤防」が建設されました。長さは 12 ～ 16 km (7.5 ～ 9.9 マイル) と推定され、この堤防は 1453 年頃に完成しました。この堤防は、テノチティトラン周辺の海域で新鮮な湧き水を維持し、堤防を越えて東側の汽水域を維持しました。
