Çin Seddi'nin doğu ucundaki Shanhai Geçidi'nde 27 Mayıs 1644'te yapılan Shanhai Geçidi Savaşı, Çin'de Qing hanedanı yönetiminin başlamasına yol açan belirleyici bir savaştı.Orada, Qing prens-naibi Dorgon, Shun hanedanının asi lideri Li Zicheng'i yenmek için eski Ming generali Wu Sangui ile ittifak kurarak Dorgon ve Qing ordusunun Pekin'i hızla fethetmesine izin verdi.
