Elizabeth I (7 September 1533 – 24 March 1603) served as Queen of England and Ireland from 17 November 1558 until her death in 1603, marking the final and longest reign of the House of Tudor. She was the only surviving child of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. At the age of two, her parents' marriage was annulled, her mother was executed, and Elizabeth was declared illegitimate. However, she was restored to the line of succession at the age of ten.
